ASSESSMENT AND REPORTING
At Living Waters we aim to give parents plenty of opportunities for finding out information about how their child is progressing at school. The school adopts an "open door" policy whereby parents are invited to visit the school and classes at any time. It is polite, however, to let the teacher know prior to a visit to ensure the time is suitable.
Portfolios are sent home each term containing examples of children's work in different subject areas.
Term1:
- Early in the term there is a parent information evening where teachers outline the year's program and classroom management procedures.
- Parent / Teacher interviews are held toward the end of the term
Term 2:
- A Mid Year Report is sent home.
- A checklist report on students progress is sent home toward the end of term.
Term 3:
- An optional interview opportunity is provided for all parents.
Term 4:
- A full written report is sent home.
